With the season slowly coming to an end I’ve got a little time up my sleeve to update the site with some more great hunts we’ve recently had. This hunt goes back to late February and saw Justin wanting a public land red stag trophy hunt… quite possibly one of New Zealand’s toughest hunts!
We headed deep into the South Island High Country in search of a nice stag for the wall, with a decent weather forecast we jumped in the machine and before long we were in the depths of some of NZ’s finest public land red stag country.
This post is more of a photo essay but over the 5 days we saw plenty of animals including chamois, red deer and a few tahr. Long story short Justin ended up taking a big 10 point red on last light one evening, it turned out to be an awesome hunt with Justin getting the job done at 350m+ with the trusty .308win
Hope you enjoy the photos; if you’re interested in a hunt like this please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (027) 232- 5083
